Possible Colloquialism
My boss’s normal greeting for the first time of the day is, “Whatchu know good?” I don’t know if this is a southern thing or not but it’s annoying. It seems innocent enough but I don’t know what he wants to know. Is he asking me, “Hey, how was your evening? Anything new going on in your life?” or “You don’t look busy, what are you working on today?” or is he really asking me what it is that I know that I could tell him more about than most people could. This list is pretty short though. I’m more of a “know a little about a lot” than a “know a lot about a little” kinda guy. The point is, I feel like an idiot trying to figure out how to answer his question so I tend to divert the situation, “Not much, what’s going on?” is my typical reply. This is mainly because I’m pretty sure he means #2 and he always comes around when I don’t have shit going on.

Meet Hoppy, the hitchhiker I picked up on my way home from work. He stuck it out for 4 miles, until I made the attendant at the car wash move him so he wouldn’t perish during the hot waxing cycle. Picture 2 is him hunkered down at 40 mph. I imagined him making racing noises as we went down the road.

Wait. What? She didn’t inhale 5 cigerettes a day for 95 years? Looks like she quit and avoided cancer by not being a smoker in the first place.

I am close to 90% positive that my refrigerator sounds almost exactly like Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru’s adobe in “A New Hope”. Not entirely unlike this guys cabinet sounding like Chewy. As soon as I record the sound I’ll post comparison audio. I’m preparing for my disappointment.
